Toni Tapp Coutts is a writer and photographer who lives in the outback town of Katherine in the Northern Territory of Australia. She is passionate about where she lives and loves portraying the country and the people who live there, through photography and writing stories.
The eldest of ten children, Toni grew up on the cattle property of Killarney Station 250Kms south-west of Katherine and attended boarding school in Queensland. 
Currently the Executive Officer of Katherine Regional Arts and a Councillor on the KatherineTown Council she has had a varied career from living on cattle stations, riding in campdrafts and barrell racing to owning a variety store in outback Borroloola and a dress boutique in Katherine.  
Toni has recently been a guest on 'Bush Telegraph' talking about the history of the the Katherine region and Manbulloo Homestead.  She also participated in the book review about the Australian classic 'We of the Never Never' by Mrs Jeannie Gun.  Log on the ABC Radio National  and look for 'Bush Telegraph' both stories were recorded in July 2010.
Toni has recently self published a biography about her father and Territory legend Bill Tapp.
